NCHN's work in Southern Dallas County and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth region depends on volunteers, congregations, clinicians, employers, and donors. Here is exactly how you can help — and what each commitment actually involves.

Ways to get involved

Become a Community Ambassador

Individuals and volunteers

Community ambassadors may help share plain-language health information and connect neighbors with available resources. Contact NCHN to ask about current volunteer needs, orientation, and time commitments.

Host a Health Education Session

Churches and community organizations

Congregations, community centers, and neighborhood organizations may ask about hosting a health education session. NCHN will discuss current presenter availability, audience needs, site requirements, and appropriate follow-up resources.

Partner as a Clinic or Provider

Healthcare providers and clinics

Clinics, practices, and health systems can discuss possible referral pathways, service coordination, and community outreach with NCHN. Any collaboration is defined jointly before it is announced.

Precept, Teach, or Mentor

Practicing clinicians and educators

Experienced clinicians may be able to support teaching, mentoring, or workforce-development activities. Contact NCHN to ask which roles are active and what credentials or screening they require.

Corporate & Employer Partnership

Businesses and employers

Employers can discuss mission-aligned financial or in-kind support, workforce needs, meeting space, transportation, supplies, and other possible forms of collaboration with NCHN.

Donors and foundations

Charitable gifts support NCHN's nonprofit mission and program development. NCHN is a 501(c)(3) organization, and gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

How to take the first step

  1. Email info@necessarycarehealthnetwork.org or use our contact form, and tell us which role interests you.
  2. We schedule a short conversation to understand your availability, skills, and community.
  3. NCHN explains any screening, credentials, or orientation required for an available role.
  4. If there is an appropriate active need, the team confirms the role and next steps with you.
